Madison Wolf's sun drenched photos of the ocean
Updated: Jun 20, 2018
Madison Wolf's dreamy beachside images are good enough to stand on their own, but with the magical dots of the specialty film she shot with, the beach becomes transformed into a fairy tale. Following is a bit about Madison in her own words:
"My name is Madison Wolf, and I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. I have a journalism and communication degree from Iowa State University. My dog's name is Essence, and she's my best friend! My love for photography started in 2013 when my grandpa gifted me his old Canon AE-1 program, a couple rolls of expired film, and many interchangeable lenses. Needless to say, I just rolled with it after that."

1. Can you tell us a bit about how these images were created?
I developed the revolog volvox in my bathtub at home using all of the familiar gadgets and chemicals.
2. The choice of film with the subjects fits perfectly. Was it intentional to use this particular film with these subjects or was it a happy accident?
I knew I was going on vacation when I purchased the film from revolog, so I made a point to keep the film around until then. I wanted to be somewhere magical while shooting such a magical film stock.
3. Where were these photos taken?
The photos were taken in St. Petersburg, FL.
4. How long have you been practicing photography?
I've been practicing photography for about 5 years now and I will never stop! I love it, and it's a passion.
